Ty Hallock - CEO / Founding Partner

As a founder and partner of TopFloorStudio, Ty has cultivated client relationships around the country that have not only exponentially grown the business of TopFloorStudio but have also raised the profile of the region and created new, permanent, full-time positions and countless freelance assignments for creative workers in Asheville, North Carolina.

Ty is someone who has an insatiable desire to learn about how the world works and how people relate and interact in that world. He has created a “learning culture” at TopFloorStudio, where each new project is an opportunity for the group to dive in and do something that has never been done before. TopFloorStudio clients are “innovation partners” who are concerned with evolving their business, not just growing it.

Ty serves on the boards of the IT council of Asheville, A-B Tech's Business Computer Technologies Department, and the American Advertising Federation of Asheville. A pivotal player on the HUB tech team, Ty works tirelessly to connect local media artists and tech workers as well as raise the national and international profile of Western North Carolina as a crossroads for creativity, technology, and economic development. Ty holds a degree in Digital Media from Full Sail.

Heath Peek - Mobile Consultant

Having been a resident of Buncombe County all his life Heath brings a network of contacts and corporate friends to TopFloorStudio.   With the development of our new mobile applications for associations and organizations, Heath is looking forward to bringing our new product line to Western North Carolina and beyond.  He attended Montreat College and focused on public relations and communications and received a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Montreat College in 1996.  He began his career immediately following graduation in the hospitality and tourism industry working at several local conference centers and resorts including the legendary Grove Park Inn Resort & Spa where he received their highest employee award "The President Award" for being the most outstanding employee amongst 1100 piers. Following 10 years in the Hospitality and Tourism Industry he moved into the Fine Home Building Supply Industry and became involved with the North Carolina and National Home Builders Associations.  He has also worked on several projects for Chambers of Commerce in and around the Asheville area and the North Carolina Chamber of Commerce, and local tourism development authorities.  He has most recently been the marketing director for a home building supply company in Fletcher, N.C. where he assisted in the planning of the National Home Builders Association Convention in Orlando, Florida, which is the world's largest convention.  He brings a wealth of knowledge in event planning and scheduling, meeting and convention organization and professional conference organization.  He comes to TopFloor with over 12 years expertise in directing the creation of marketing & communications tools for several corporations and associations.  He lives in the Black Mountain area with his wife Queen and two children, Ethan & Thandi.  He enjoys the outdoors and hiking and camping in the lovely WNC mountains.  He is active in the Boy Scouts of America as a leader for his son's Cub Scout troop and sits on the board of the local youth football organization.
