After earning her degree in communication and journalism from Mississippi State University, she left a brief career as a county beat reporter and moved to Asheville (for a guy of course). Needing a creative outlet she pursued her love for art and technology as a graphic and web design freelancer. In 2005 she joined TopFloorStudio where she is involved throughout much of a project’s development. During the design process she combines organization, practicality, and design to create wireframes and interfaces. In the development phases she converts the designs into template frameworks and assists in page development and content management configuration. Before project launch she follows with testing and quality assurance.
