Client Description:

With centers in California, Australia, and Belgium, Future Insight Maps  helps organizations become more sustainable by tapping insights on future conditions from their own members. The result is a map revealing the strengths, or weaknesses, of an organization's
strategies, which in turn enables the organization to become more resilient to the future.

Client Need:

  • An online software product that encourages users to participate without restraint
  • Intuitive, simple-to-use activities for participants and facilitators
  • Separate work areas for coordinators, participants, and facilitators (facilitators control project creation and setup)
  • An activity process that steps participants through activity stages

Strategies/Solutions:

  • Comprehensive wireframe development to lay out content and functionality and use of soft colors in the design interface
  • Logo development for Future Insight Maps to capture its mission and a new font treatment for the Wind Tunneling logo
  • Development of custom authentication system with users and groups
  • Re-programming and re-designing of participant activity tools
  • A gating system to keep users working on projects along a pre-destined path
  • A newly structured facilitator form for new project creation and management
  • A navigation structure that uses visuals to indicate hierarchy and current activity stage
